Multilingual translation projects

NZTC International specialises in handling projects which require translation into multiple languages. Three main features allow us to ensure that multilingual projects are managed efficiently and with the highest-quality results:

  • NZTC International employs specialist project managers who have extensive experience in handling complex or large multilingual projects. Carefully planned multilingual project management is a key element in our success in handling multilingual document translation.
  • The concentration of professional multilingual translation staff under one roof aids communication between different translators working on the same project and ensures the translations contain a consistent message across all languages.
  • Our 'multilingual production check' is a quality control process which ensures that, after the normal quality control processes for each language have been carried out, a further check is carried out in which each language version is compared and checked for consistency against all the other language versions.

Because NZTC International employs an in-house staff of fulltime translators and editors, this creates an ideal environment for collaboration between the different language departments involved in projects requiring translation into multilple languages.

Whether the work is for a technical manual or for publicity or marketing material, the problems of co-ordinating the teams of translators and editors are the same. Close attention to scheduling, keeping track of different versions, ensuring client amendments are implemented in all versions and maintaining consistency of interpretation are all the responsibility of the project's managing editor. Multilingual document translation can be complex and requires careful co-ordination.

NZTC International has had long and extensive experience in handling multilingual projects in European, Asian and Polynesian languages. Having the various translators and logistics staff working closely together under one roof makes it possible to coordinate such large multilingual projects efficiently.

If you are considering a multilingual project, please don't hesitate to discuss the logistics of the exercise with one of our project managers. Large multilingual projects always run more efficiently with adequate pre-planning.
