Trish Saolele

Head of Project Management

In the translation business, translators and editors do the actual translation work. But behind the scenes, every translation project needs to be carefully managed through each of its different stages. This entails maintaining a smooth workflow, keeping client contact, and delivering the work on time and within agreed budgets. Trish is the very able leader of NZTC’s Project Management Team. Her experience, educational background and first-rate people skills make her the ideal person for the job. She says, ‘It’s fantastic working with an extremely talented group of people, who all share a common passion – languages. The team at NZTC come from all over the world, which makes the workplace such a unique environment to be in. Not only that, but I also love the fact that I am able to communicate with linguists and clients, who are based all around the globe, on a daily basis – the world is literally at our doorstep!’

A born and bred Wellingtonian, Trish had worked in both private- and public-sector organisations before joining NZTC in 2000.
