Natalie Coe

Graphic Artist

A strong background in languages as well as graphic design is an ideal combination for someone working in NZTC’s Art Department – and Natalie Coe has both. As a born and bred Wellingtonian who grew up as part of the city’s Japanese community, Natalie enjoyed a bilingual upbringing. After completing a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Illustration, at Massey University and a Diploma in Graphic Design at the Natcoll Digital Design School, Natalie worked as a freelance illustrator, designer, language teacher and translator. She also completed two years working in Japan as Coordinator for International Relations at Fukuoka City Hall.

Natalie’s diverse skill set and professional experience made her a welcome addition to the team at NZTC’s Art Department, which she joined in 2010.
