Hagen Issell
Sales and Marketing Director

Hagen Issell is a New Zealander of Dutch parentage and holds a double degree in Marketing and Advertising from Auckland University of Technology. Hagen manages the implementation of the company's national and international marketing strategy, and maintains his 'hands-on' experience by taking responsibility for the company's business development in Auckland, the country's largest commercial centre.

While Hagen is currently located at NZTC's Auckland office, he keeps his finger on the pulse of events within the company and spends one week a month in production headquarters in Wellington.
 

Matt Heenan
Sales & Marketing Manager

A recent experience of living in the Netherlands and Spain for three years has given Matt a keen appreciation of the growing need for translation in today's global economy. His role as Sales & Marketing Manager allows him to develop relationships with companies new to translation, and he particularly enjoys helping his clients get their message across as effectively as possible. And while "exceeding client expectations" is a well-known marketing aim, Matt's view is that his job is to ensure that this sentiment becomes a reality for his clients - time after time.
 

Glenn Johnston
Sales Executive

Born in England but raised in New Zealand, Glenn is an avid sportsman and played representative football for Canterbury for several years. He combines his love for the game with his linguistic talents by listening to Italian broadcasts of games featuring his favourite team AC Milan over the internet. One can quickly understand why Glenn is such an asset to NZTC's indoor football team!

His degree in languages (German and Spanish), ten years in Europe and his passion for football infected Glenn with the language bug, bringing him to NZTC. "I really enjoy working with clients from all over the world and working with so many different languages," says Glenn. "My role is to maintain and develop good relationships with clients, working closely with the project management team to ensure projects are run successfully and on time for my clients."
