NZTC attends Localisation World Conference Berlin 2009
The conference which drew over 450 participants, mostly from the technology, localization and IT areas of the translation industry was attended by NZTC’s Director and Senior Editor, Patrick King.
The many conference sessions dealt with topics from machine translation to international marketing. The exhibit hall featured the whole range of technology now available to translation providers: workflow management systems, translation memory, machine translation and terminology management tools.
The main highlight from the conference was that the industry has to adapt to ever more complex computer-assisted translation tools.
